How can we automate the capture of flight data and telemetry, integrating asset management (drones and batteries) to ensure fleet visibility and operational intelligence?

Challenge Description:

Currently, flight and asset tracking is decentralized, which hinders a unified view of equipment availability and health. The challenge is to implement an end-to-end fleet management solution. Our goal is to move beyond manual controls by automating data capture directly from the aircraft and transforming this information into strategic KPIs. We are seeking a flexible and scalable platform that provides real-time visibility into asset location, usage history, and battery health, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Solution Requirements

  • Fleet and Asset Management: Feature to register, track, and manage the lifecycle of drones and equipment, identifying location and assigned pilots.
  • Automated Data Capture: Ability to automatically import flight logs and telemetry (focusing on DJI integration) to populate the database without relying on manual 'flight-by-flight' data entry.
  • Battery Monitoring: Controle técnico da saúde das baterias (ciclos, temperatura, vida útil) para apoiar a manutenção preventiva e segurança.
  • Dashboards and BI: Dashboards that consolidate scattered information into visual indicators (utilization rate, flights by region/pilot) to support decision-making.
  • PT-BR Usability: The solution must provide a user-friendly and localized interface to facilitate operation by field teams
  • Flexibility and Customization: An architecture that allows for the creation of custom fields, adaptation of workflows, and specific business rules, aligning with our operational reality without excessive rigidity.
  • Structured Technical Support: Guarantee of responsive support for resolving incidents and queries, with well-defined Service Level Agreements (SLA), ensuring operational reliability.
  • Compliance Support: Features to track regulatory expiration dates (insurance policies, ANAC certifications) to mitigate operational risks.

Possible Technologies:

  • Systems Integration (APIs): Connectors for data extraction from manufacturer cloud platforms.
  • Data Analytics: Tools for information processing and the generation of customizable reports.
  • Low-Code/No-Code: Platforms that facilitate the adaptation of forms and processes.

Business Impact:

  • Asset Governance: Full visibility into the inventory, preventing losses and identifying idle or overlooked equipment.
  • Management Efficiency: Elimination of manual effort for flight data consolidation.
  • CAPEX Optimization: New equipment procurement based on actual utilization data from the existing fleet.
  • Operational Safety: Enhanced control over the maintenance and service life of critical components (batteries).

Expected Benefits

  • Centralization of flight and fleet information into a single, reliable environment.
  • Structured and auditable data for management support.
  • Fast access to information regarding drone availability and status.

Deadline: The proposal submission form will be available until March 11, 2026.
