Automation and scalability in reading energy bill data

How to automate and scale the extraction of energy bill data in different formats, including images and files without standardization, reducing processing time and operational costs?

Short Description: Currently, the process of extracting data from energy bills requires time and considerable operational resources. Our goal is to make this process more efficient, reducing costs, reducing the time required and improving the accuracy in reading documents. 

We are looking for a solution that automates the extraction of data from energy bills from different distributors, permittees and concessionaires, regardless of the format or type of file, such as images and files without standardization. The solution must guarantee more than 95% read accuracy, be scalable to keep up with the company's growth, and integrate seamlessly with existing systems, including Salesforce CRM, at a competitive unit cost that ensures excellent cost-effectiveness.

Mandatory requirements for problem solving 

1 – Reading of all invoices from all distributors, permittees and concessionaires (high and low voltage) 
2 – Reading invoices in structured pdf 
3 – Processamento e tabulação das informações em menos de 1 minuto 
4 – Processamento de faturas recebidas em tempo real 
5 – Reading PDF and any type of file with >95% accuracy 
6 – Ability to connect via API; receipt of data and file via API; Integration with existing systems 
7 – Receipt of the file via e-mail 
8 – Receiving the file via Landing page 
9 – Return with the tabulated data via excel, xml or API 
10 – Ability to read at least 500 invoices/month 
11 – Ability to identify the change of the name of the fields 
12 – Data processing capacity (from/to) to adapt the fields for use in other systems 
13 – Recurring maintenance of the layouts of invoices already mapped 
14 – The data collected will be under the exclusive control of Eletrobras 
15 – The solution must ensure the security and privacy of the data collected from the customer's invoice.  

Non-functional (desirable) requirements 

1 – User interface (own website) 
2 – Que novos modelos de faturas sejam mapeados em até 2 (dois) dias 
3 – Robot to capture information directly from the distributor's website (condition applicable only to Eletrobras customers) 
4 – Integration with Salesforce CRM
