F.A.Q

The Eletrobras Spark program is accessible to Public or Private Universities, Public or Private Institutes, Public or Private Research Centers, and other Science and Technology Institutions (STIs) that focus on the educational and professional development of individuals. The Spark program aims to establish relationships with educational institutions at the undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral levels. The institution must have an internal innovation program that seeks to involve its students in real-world corporate challenges, aiming to achieve results through their knowledge.

No. The Eletrobras Innovation Grid does not charge any fees to connect and engage with institutions. The company requests, in return, the availability of dedicated team(s) to apply the fundamentals, methods, and technologies with the aim of prototyping solutions for Eletrobras’ business challenges. On the other hand, Eletrobras will provide its experienced technical staff, offering high-level expertise and technical support, adding intangible value to the professors and in the training of the students.
Through internship programs and scholarships from other institutions. Students can be integrated into the teams of an institution interested in participating in the respective Eletrobras challenge. It is necessary for the student to be affiliated with an institution that has an open innovation program, as Spark will not establish direct relationships with students.
Each challenge has its own specific characteristics and may require specific qualifications. It is natural for the challenges to require multidisciplinary teams aimed at composing various work fronts for the co-development of solution proposals. In general, the challenges may require qualifications in various areas involving information technology, combined with other areas of knowledge (administration, engineering, communication, maintenance, economics and finance, legal, human resources management, among others).
The company’s innovation policy envisions the delivery of technological products in the short term, utilizing agile methodologies, associated with the value delivery defined in each challenge. The aim is to materialize solution proposals that contribute to the Value Delivery being addressed by the respective challenge. The challenges launched in Spark can be co-developed with those launched in the Tech Partnerships program, which aims at delivering high-value-added solutions, providing students with direct contact with professionals from the national and international innovation ecosystem and close interaction with Eletrobras professionals.
