The Spark program from AXIA Energy is accessible to public or private universities, public or private institutes, public or private research centers, and other Science and Technology Institutions (ICTs) whose scope of activity includes the educational and professional development of individuals. The Spark program aims to connect with educational institutions at the undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral levels. The institution must have an internal innovation program that seeks to engage its students in real-world corporate challenges, aiming to materialize results from knowledge acquired.
No. The Innovation Grid does not receive any funding for its relationship and connection with institutions. The company's counterpart is the availability of dedicated team(s) to apply the fundamentals, methods, and technologies with the goal of prototyping solutions for AXIA Energy business challenges. In return, AXIA Energy will provide its experienced technical staff, offering expertise and high-level technical support, adding intangible value to the professors and the students' training.
Through internship programs and scholarships from other institutions, students may be placed on teams from institutions interested in participating in the respective AXIA Energy challenge. It is necessary for the student to be affiliated with an institution that has an open innovation program, as Spark will not have direct contact with students.
Each challenge has its own specific characteristics and may require specific qualifications. It is natural for the challenges to require multidisciplinary teams aimed at composing various work fronts for the co-development of solution proposals. In general, the challenges may require qualifications in various areas involving information technology, combined with other areas of knowledge (administration, engineering, communication, maintenance, economics and finance, legal, human resources management, among others).
The company's innovation policy foresees the delivery of technological products in the short term, through the use of agile methodologies, associated with the value delivery defined in each challenge. It is necessary to materialize proposed solutions to enhance the value delivery addressed by the respective challenge. Challenges launched on Spark can be co-developed with challenges launched in the Tech Partnerships program, which provides high value-added deliverables, offering students direct contact with professionals from the national and international innovation ecosystem, as well as close contact with AXIA Energy professionals.
