We are seeking proposals from companies and institutions for the technology transfer process of the solution "Smart microcapsules that promote self-healing in the anticorrosive protection of metallic assets." This technology aims to autonomously repair damage and defects in the anticorrosive coating of metallic structures without the need for immediate human intervention, with the goal of reducing the frequency of maintenance for repainting the asset and its associated costs, thereby increasing the operational lifespan of the asset. We are open to receiving proposals for the large-scale production of the microcapsules alone or for the large-scale production of a self-healing paint already containing the smart microcapsules. We are also open to evaluating mature technological solutions already available in the market that effectively meet the proposed objective. Our goal is to make this solution viable at scale for Eletrobras, thereby ensuring excellence, innovation, and reducing the maintenance costs of anticorrosive protection in our operations, in addition to enabling the partner to commercialize the technology in the market.
